Jalan-jalan in Malay translates roughly to 'walk about'
in English. It's such a lovely local way of describing an
easy, informal day out, with the hope of making little
discoveries along the way, meeting up with old friends,
and perhaps making new ones as well.
No one appreciates the benefits of going on a bit of
a jalan-jalan now and then, better than our very own
